 Collaborated with Executive Principal, High School Principal, High School Assistant Principals, Dean of Culture and Office Staff to vertically align systems for daily school operation.


Provided Middle School Academic Teachers with monthly opportunities for collaborative planning, execution of system changes, and feedback. 

  • Meetings were optional and had no less than 94% attendance 


Established inaugural monthly data cycles for 86 Academics and Arts teachers during the 2023-2024 academic year. Protocols were refined with teacher feedback and maintained to progress monitor student growth through the 2024-2025 academic year. 

  • Modified and refined the school-wide (6-12) data inquiry protocol to reflect alignment with district priorities, curriculum adoption, and lesson plan internalization template during the 2024-2025 academic year. 


Developed and implemented classroom walkthrough protocol, observation tool, and debrief process for the Instructional Leadership Team to ensure calibration for 100% of instructional coaches/evaluators across all grade levels and content areas.


Designed classroom coverage contingency protocols for Middle and High School Arts and Academics Teachers in alignment with Denver Classroom Teachers’ Association Bargaining Agreement

  • Consistent training with office staff to ensure implementation
  • Feedback from staff regarding experience of communication flows and expectations


Guided the development of policies, procedures, and implementation of the inaugural Middle School Student Council during the 2024-2025

  • membership of 54 students during inaugural year


Facilitated weekly Instructional Leadership Team meetings as aligned to the year-long scope and sequence for professional learning, observations, assessments, and coaching cycles. 


Executed a five-part Gospel workshop series for 27 vocal performance students in grades 8-10 and served as Guest Conductor and Features Soloist in the December 2024 Winter Concert. 


Coordinated logistics for 84 school trips and excursions during the 2023-2024 academic year, involving 333 teachers and adult volunteers, including five trips out of state and one international trip. 

  • Served as the administrator on duty for the High School Orchestra’s performance tour of Italy in Rome, Florence, Montecatini Terme, and Venice. 80 students and chaperones were in attendance. 


Planned and executed monthly grade level/class meetings for Middle School Students to celebrate attendance and positively support socioemotional learning 


Served as Staff Sponsor, Producer and Vocal Performance Coach for the student-directed annual Black History Show during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years

  • Cast size increased from 8 students in 2023 to 16 students in 2024 to 38 students in 2025.
  • Fundraising efforts produced a $3,000 profit in 2024 and $15,000 in 2025.

Responsibilities: 

     Create and refine core content curricula to ensure alignment with Common Core and Colorado Academic Standards and school focus: Blackness, STEAM and Project Based Learning. 


Build partnerships with district and external programs to develop pathways to college credit-bearing courses and extracurricular opportunities for students.


Design professional development opportunities for teachers based on individual and school-based areas of focus. 


Serve as liaison between school design team and district representatives (marketing, legal, content area specialists).


Facilitate scholar voice through establishing the Student Council, workshops, field trips, and empathy interviews. 


Write, edit, and review family and community communication through newsletters and social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).


Coordinate facility modifications with shared campus leader, according to district policy.


 Engage educators, families and community stakeholders in planning conversations, consensus building conversations and events. . 


Define and refine Unified Improvement Plan goals and areas of focus for approval from the school district and release by the State of Colorado's Department of Education.


Oversee the implementation of systems that allow instruction, operations, and school culture to be refined.
